My name is Jake Bartlett. I've been passionate about learning new things since I was a Clover Kid at the age of 6 years old. 4-H has offered me the opportunity to learn things I would have never ventured to study and it has allowed me to grow as a leader and a person. I've also learned other things like photography, food science, and woodworking. It is great to have such an amazing program.

I've spent the last nine years exploring and studying entomology because of my 4-H experience. I have ~130 insects in my collection covering 8 different orders. I love bugs!
I have explored photography one and off for the past 5 years. There are times I have found it time consuming to capture the "perfect shot", but I find myself drawn back to it for the challenge
Woodworking gives me a chance to spend time with and learn from my grandfather, which I love. I've done simple projects and complex, like a yard-size Connect Four. It's all fun!
